CHOCOLATE SAUCE WITH MACAROONS

1 cup of sugar
5 or 6 tablespoonsful of chocolate or cocoa
1 tablespoon of cornstarch

Put sugar and chocolate in saucepan, add cup of milk and blend.  Add 1 tablespoon of cornstarch mixed with milk and cook 1/2 hour.  Add dsh of vanilla.

Pour over broken up macaroons and serve in parfait glasses.
