4 tablespoons Crisco
2 tablespoons Flour
1 cup milk
1 small can tomatoes
1/2 cup grated cheese
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 lb. macaroni

Melt Crisco, add flour and stir to a smooth paste, add milk, tomatoes, grated cheese, salt and pepper, for ten minutes stirring constantly.  Boil macaroni separately.   Place alternately a layer of macaroni and a layer of the sauce in baking dish until the dish is filled, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, dust with butter and bake for 45 minutes at 375.
