DATE AND NUT PUDDING

1 cup Nuts
1 cup Dates (stoned & chopped)
1/2 cup Sugar
1 tablespoonful Breadcrumbs
2 tablespoonful Flour
3 eggs, separated
1/4 teaspoonful salt
1 teaspoonful Baking Powder

Beat the yolks of eggs and add sugar and breadcrumbs, sift in flour, baking powder and salt.  Dust the nut meats and stoned and chopped dates with flour, add to mixture.   Fold in the beaten whites of eggs.

Bake for 36 minutes in greased pan in a slow oven.

Serve with shiped cream or foamy sauce.
