Half pound chocolate melted in about 2 tablespoonfuls of water.  When smooth and cool add 4 yolks of eggs and one teaspoonful of brandy and the whipped whites.  Set in a mold on ice.  Turn out and decorate with whipped cream.

Cream is not necessary.   The mixture can be put in small glasses before putting in the ice-box and decorated with cherries or other candied fruit.
