2 cups milk
1 cup sugar
1 egg
2 tablespoons gelatine
1/2 cup almonds finely ground
1/2 pint fresh cream

Put milk, sugar and egg together in saucepan, let come to boiling pint (don't boil) soak gelatine in 1/2 cup cold water, add boiling water to make a cup, add to the hot milk and set aside to cool, stir once in awhile till set; when real cold whip cream and fold into mixture with the ground almonds.  Eat with red sauce.

Sauce for Fairy Pudding

1 cup grape juice
1 1/2 cups water
5 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
