2 pints fresh cream
1 lb. sugar
1 pint pineapple
1 lemon

Grate the pineapple and mix with the sugar.  When the sugar is melted mix with the cream and slightly thicken it.  Then add the juice of a lemon, continue to stir, then freeze.  (If canned pineapple is used, mix it with the cream while it is slightly frozen.)
