EGG NOG

3 qts. milk
(1 qt. cream and 2 qts. milk better)
18 eggs
1 qt. Rye Whiskey
Pinch of salt
1 cup Sugar in yolk of eggs
1/2 cup sugar  in Whites of eggs

Beat yolks until almost white, add sugar slowly, add Rye a little at a time, beating thoroughly, fold whites in last, fill glasses and dust with grated nutmeg.
