COCONUT CAKE

1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
Mix above ingredients like pie crust and sprinkle in pan 5 x 9 in.  Bake in 325 oven for 1/2 hour.

Break 2 eggs—add 1 cup brown sugar—2 tablespoons flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 1 cup coconut (grated), 1 teaspoon vanilla.

Spread the second mixture over the first and bake in 325 oven for 30 minutes or until mixture is firm to touch.  Cut when cold.
