1 cup Sugar
1/4 lb. Butter
2 Eggs
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Flavoring
3 cups Sifted Flour
3 teaspoons Baking Powder
1/4 cup Milk

Cream butter, add suguar and salt, add eggs one at a time, add flavoring, add flour mixed with baking powder alternately with the milk.  Let dough stand in icebox till stiff.   Roll out and cut, brush with milk or egg and sprinkle with sugar and bake.
