BEEF UPSIDE DOWN PIE

1 1/2 cups flour
4 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon salt, paprika, celery salt
1/4 Teaspoon White Pepper
5 Tablespoons Crisco
1 Cup Milk
1/4 Cup sliced Onion
1 Can Tomato Soup
1/2 lb. ground raw beef


Sift together flour, baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, paprika, cerlery, salt and pepper, add 3 tablespoons Crisco and mix in well with fork, add milk and stir till blended, melt remaining tablespoons Crisco in frying pan and cook onions till soft, add tomato soup, remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt etc. and ground meat, bring to boil.

Spread Baking Powder mixture on top of meat mixture and bake in hot oven at 475 for about 20 minutes, turn out upside down on platter and serve.
