PEANUT BUTTER CANDY

Medium size jar peanut butter (about 1 cup)
Two cups granulated sugar
Enough milk to soften and keep from burning (about 1/2 cup).

If you have sour cream, use in place of milk as that improves the candy.

Cook in heavy sauce pan and stir often to keep from sticking and burning.   Cook until soft ball forms in water, take off fire and stir until creamy.

Pour into buttered pan and mark off in squares.
