TOMATO CHUTNEY

Ingredients:

3 lbs. tomatoes (red)
2 lbs. green apples
1 lb sugar
1 Spanish onion
2 tbsp salt
1 dessert spoon white pepper
1 dessert spoon ground ginger
1 pint vinegar

Peel tomatores and apples, cut latter up small, chop onion finely, boil one hour, then let cool and then put into airtight jars.
