EGG TOADSTOOLS


Boil 6 eggs hard—plunge into cold water and peel carefully.  Slice off just sufficient of the rounded ends to enable them to stand upright.  Also cut a small slice off the pointed ends.  Cut 6 tomatoes in half after taking off skin.  Place upper halves on top of the eggs—to resemble scarlet fungi.  Decorate with small spots of thick, well seasoned salad dressing.   Place the toadstools on a bed of lettuce or other salad leaves.
