6 Pork chops
2 green apples
2 green peppers
1 cup cooked rice
1 can beef broth
Salt, pepper, flour

Trim the pork chops of most of their fat.  Cut the apples in large slices.  Cut the peppers in rings.  Sprinkle the chops with the salt and pepper, dust thoroughly with the flour, and brown evenly in hot fat.  Arrange the chops in a casserole.   On top of each, place a slice of apple.  Over the apple lay a green pepper ring.  Fill each ring with the rice.  When the casserole is nearly filled pour in the beef broth.  Bake in a moderate oven 375 F.) for 1 1/2 hours, adding more beef broth, if necessary.
