3 lbs. Lamb Shoulder 2 lbs. Cabbage |

Cut meat in pieces twice as large as for stew. Sprinkle generously with flour. Place in pot and almost cover with cold water. Add salt and about two dozen black peppercornsor just black pepper. Cut cabbage in large pieces and place on top Cover and simmer slowly about two hours. |
