Cheese Puffs

1 lb. unsliced bread or large family loaf, cut into 1-inch cubes
2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. margarine
1 (8 oz.) pkg. grated cheddar cheese
4 egg whites, stiffly beaten

Trim crusts, cut in 1-inch cubes

Combine cheese and margarine in double boiler.  Melt until smooth, stirring constantly.  Fold small amount of cheese into egg whites.  Then fold into remaining cheese mixture.  Use forks to dip bread cubes into mixture, coat all sides and then place 1-inch apart on lightly greased cookie sheet.  Refrigerate overnight or freeze--DO NOT THAW!

Bake 400 for 12 minutes.
