Clam Dip

1 medium onion, minced
1/4 lb. butter
2 cans undrained, minced clams
1 tsp. oregano
dash of cayenne pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. dry parsley
dash of Tabasco
1/2 c. dry, seasoned bread crumbs

Simmer onion and garlic in butter until tender.  Add clams and the remaining ingredients.  Pour mixture into dish and top with some grated Parmesan cheese, then paprika.

Bake at 400 for 20 minutes.  Serve with cubed Italian bread as a dip or as individual baked clams.
