Kraut Cheese Roll

1 large jar sauerkraut (29 oz.)
2 tsp. chopped onion
1 hard cooked egg, chopped
1/4 c. salad dressing
2 c. grated cheddar cheese
3 tsp. chopped green pepper
2 tsp. chopped pimento
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar

Drain sauerkraut and chop it fairly fine.  Combine all ingredients.  Shape into a roll about 15 inches long.  Wrap in aluminium foil or plastic wrap.  Chill overnight.  when ready to serve, sprinkle with paprika or finely chopped parsley.

Serve. on crackers.
