Mushroom Bread

This resembles a pizza with no sauce -- serve as a snack anytime or party appetizer.

1 (8 oz.) can refrigerated crescent rolls
2 c. mushrooms, sliced

1/2 stick butter, melted
Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp. marjoram

Separate dough into triangles.  Place on ungreased 12-inch pizza pan.  Press out dough to fit pan, pinching edges together.  Using fresh mushrooms is the best, but one (8 oz.) can of slices will work.  Toss mushrooms with melted butter; arrange on dough.  Sprinkle with cheese and marjoram.

Bake 375 20 to 25 minutes.   Shredded Mozzarella or Swiss cheese can be substituted for Parmesan.
