Corn Fritters

2 c. fritter corn (drain well)
1 c. flour, sifted
2 egg yolks and whites,
beaten separately
1/2 c. sweet milk
1/2 tsp. salt (scant)
2 tsp. baking powder

Mix all ingredients, adding beaten egg whites last.  Fry in deep fat, using a wire basket as for doughnuts.  (To fry on a griddle, add 1/2 cup more milk).

Makes 18 fritters
