|1 c. flour
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. sugar
2 pkg. ( 3 1/2 oz.) chocolate pudding mix
|1 stick butter
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 pkg. (9 oz.) Cool Whip
3 c. milk
Melt butter in an oblong Pyrex dish (9x13 inch).Add flour and nuts and mix thoroughly. Press down to cover the bottom of the pan. Bake at 400º for 10 minutes. Let cool.
Combine sugar and cream cheese. Mix thoroughly. Add 1/2 of the Cool Whip (or Dream Whip). Spread this on the cooled crust.
Make pudding with 3 cups of milk instead of the 4 called for in the package instructions. Let cool.
Spread cooled pudding over the sugar-cream cheese mixture.
Top with remaining 1/2 of Cool Whip.
Sprinkle with a few chopped nuts.
