Fried Apples


4 tart apples
cinnamon to taste
1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. brown sugar

Melt butter in a skillet over low heat.  Add 1/4 inch thick slices of apple (cut across the core) and cook until apples are sauteed.  Turn once.  Remove apples to sreving plate and sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.  Pop in the oven for a few minutes to melt sugar.  Serves 4 to 8 people.

Microwave Cooking Method:  Melt butter in flat glass dish.  Arrange apple slces in single layer.  Cook 1 minute ono full power.   Turn apple slices and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.  Cover and cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute on full power.
