Lazy Daisy Cake

2 eggs
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. boiling milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. butter or Crisco

Beat eggs well; add sugar and vanilla.  Add dry ingredients and beat well.   Scald milk with butter and add to previous mixture.  Bake at 350 for 45 to 50 minutes.

Topping:

3 Tbsp. melted butter
2 Tbsp. cream
1/2 c. chopped nuts
5 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. coconut

Mix well and spread over warm cake.  Place under broiler until topping bubbles and starts to brown (watch carefully -- topping burns easily).
