Peanut Butter Sauce


1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. smooth peanut butter
1 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
3/4 c. milk
1/4 tsp. vanilla

1.  Mix sugar, Karo, salt and milk.  Cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly.

2.   Add peanut butter and blend.  (Use blender to make smooth).  Remove from heat and add the vanilla when cool.

3.  Serve over vanilla ice cream with crush dry-roasted peanuts sprinkled on top.
