Down South French Salad Dressing

1 1/2 c. salad oil
1 c. sugar
2/3 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. horseradish (ground)

1 tbsp. salt
3 tbsp. sieved onions
1 tbsp. dry mustard
1 1/3 c. tomato puree


Let onions stand in vinegar while other ingredients are measured.  Combine all and mix well with beater.

This recipe makes approximately 1 quart of salad dressing; and will keep well in refrigerator.
