Strawberry Gelatin Salad

2 small pkg. strawberry gelatin
1 c. chopped pecans
1 to 2 cans Diet 7-Up
2 small cans crushed pineapple, drained
2 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen strawberries, thawed, drained and mashed
2 bananas, mashed
16 oz. sour cream
12 crisp lettuce leaves

Us 1/2 of gelatin, straberries, bananas, pineapple and pecans.  Mix as follows: Combine strawberry and pineapple liquid and add 7-Up to make one cup.  Dissolve 1 package gelatin in 1/2 cup boiling water and add juice and 7-Up mixture.

Combine and add strawberries, bananas, pineapple and 1/2 cup nuts.  Pour into 9x13 sheath cake pan and refrigerate until firm.  Spread on all the sour cream and refrigerate about 30 minutes.  Prepare second box of gelatin in the same manner as the first.  Chill until slightly thickened.  Gently spoon on top of the sour cream.  Chill until firm.  Cut into 12 squares and serve on lettuce leaves.
