Chicken Divan

2 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen broccoli, cooked
2 c. chicken breasts, sliced and cooked
6 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. flour
3 c. chicken broth
1 1/2 c. heavy cream
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
4 tsp. prepared mustard
2 tbsp. minced onion
2 tbsp. dry sherry
salt and pepper to taste

Place broccoli in bottom of 3 quart casserole or square baking dish.  Add chicken over broccoli.  In small saucepan, melt butter, gradually belend in flour; cook until thick.  Add chicken broth, then heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, Parmesan, mustard, onion, sherry, salt and pepper.  Stir over low heat until cheese melts.  Pour sauce over meat and broccoli.  Refrigerate or freeze.  When ready to bake, return to room temperature.  Bake at 400 for 25 to 30 minutes.  If desired, dash sherry over casserole before serving.  Serves 6.
