Mom's Hawaiian Chicken

3 1/2 lb. chicken

Flour chicken with this mixture:

1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. celery salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. Japanese soy sauce
1 tsp. brown sugar

20 oz. can pineapple chunks
1 tbsp. sugar

Brown chicken lightly in butter in large skillet.  Remove chicken and add pineapple, soy sauce and sugars to drippings.  Stir over low heat, scraping to get all the particles.  Place chicken in 8x13 glass baking dish.  Pour pineapple mixture over chicken.

Bake in preheated 350 oven for 1 hour.  Baste after 30 minutes.  Makes 4 or 5 servings.

One of the best tummy pleasurers for cast parties.
