King Ranch Chicken

2 lb. cooked chicken, diced
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 large onion, diced
2 cans (8 oz.) stewed tomatoes
1 lb. shredded cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 or 2 cans (4 oz.) diced green chiles
1 pkg. Doritos

Boil chicken, cool and dice; reserve broth.  Dip Doritos in warm broth and line bottom and sides of 9x13 inch Pyrex dish.  Next, layer chicken, onion, chiles, soups and top with cheese.  Last, pour tomatoes over the cheese.  Bake at 350 1 hour.  Serve with shredded lettuce.
