Scalloped Cabbage

1/2 head cabbage
cracker crumbs
1 c. white sauce
salt and pepper

Cut cabbage in small pieces.  Put in buttered baking dish, sprinkle with salt and pepper and add the white sauce.  Lift cabbage with fork, that it may be well mixed with sauce.  Cover with buttered crumbs.  Bake until crumbs are brown.
