Squash Or Chayote Casserole

1/2 lb. boiled squash, mashed and drained, salt and peppered
to taste
1 pkg. Pepperridge Farm  stuffing mix (seasoned)
1 can water chestnuts (sliced fine)
2 medium onions (chopped fine)
1 can cream of chicken soup

1/2 pt. sour cream
1 stick butter (melted)

Put stuffing mix to cover bottom of 9x9 inch pan; pour melted butter over it.  Mix following: Onion, soup, sour cream, squash and water chestnuts; pour over stuffing mix in pan.  Top with more stuffing mix and bake 350
