A note of thanks to all of you who assisted my son, Bryan, and his friends, Alex and Jeromey, with their group documentary history fair project.  Yesterday, they competed in Austin at the State level and placed FIRST!!  They will go to Maryland June 10-14 to compete at Nationals.  They also won the Oral History Award for the interviews they had done.  By the end of this month, their names will be posted as participants on the History Day webpage (www.nationalhistoryday.org).  During that week, you can check to see if they make the finals and the overall results will be posted by noon on 6/14. 

Again, thanks to everyone who contributed to this.  It is a very special honor to make it to the state level, but first place is phenomemal!!
