Comments I was born in Gorgas hospital Ancon CZ. I grew up in Gamboa, and lived at 132A Sibert Ave. My Dad worked for the dreging division and we left the CZ in June of 1962. I retired from Federal Service on Sep 2 2001, and during my time was able to return to the zone in 1996 for about 3 days.

Comments very much amazed as how much a man can miss a time in his life as his childhood and teen years I mean I am only 21 but I feel that my better years was back in the zone . I have lived in the canal zone all my life and continue to do so now and I miss the times I have gone to the atlantic with my friends and the times when we put soap in geothals memorial and all the field trips from spanish class and the times I went with my girlfriend to the movies in amador theatre or the times i went to the causeway with her .... I could go on for hours all we can do now is remember on through our very vivid memories of what we all now and love : the canal zone
