* The Censorship Offices operated during World War II. Mail was delivered by the Navy and 6th Air Force to Galapagos Island Naval Station; Salinas, Ecuador; and Talera, Peru via the Canal Zone. * This building was the headquarters for the French Canal Company. It later became the headquarters for the Isthmian Canal Commission. For many years it was the main Panama City Post Office. At present it is the Interoceanic Canal Museum.
