The Art in Embassies Program has purchased an 18 foot mural from Mark Nelson to be included in the permanent art collection of the new U.S. Embassy of Panama. Mark, a product of both Panama Canal Zone schools and Panama schools, created this work after memories of fishing and watching the Jesus Lizards that dart over the water by the banks of the Panama Canal inlets; sanctuaries for schools of Peacock Bass.
