The intersection of Balboa Road,
Barneby Street and La Boca Road. Balboa Police Station is in the distance beyond
trucks. Out of picture is Union Church on the right and Chase Manhattan Bank on the
left. This picture was taken August 28, 1944 after a rainfall of 4.78 inches in one hour. To that date it was the most intense rainfall on record for the Pacific Side of the Canal Zone. |
