Oriental Mango Marinade
2 1/2 Cups
This is great over meat, chicken or
fish and doubles as a basting sauce.
Marinade can be prepared a day or two in advance.
|1 ripe mango
1 cup Chinese rice wine or sake
1/2 cuplight soy sauce
2 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tsp grated fresh ginger
3 cloves garlic
1 green onion
1/2 tsp chili oil (or to taste)
|Peel and remove flesh from mango. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.|
