KAHLUA

1 cup light brown sugar
1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar
2 cups water

1/2 cup instant Nescafe coffee
3 cups 80 proof vodka
2 teaspoons vanilla or one vanilla bean

1. Boil sugar and water for 5 minutes.
2. Add coffee and cool.
3. Add vodka and vanilla.
4. Pour in bottles. It will keep for 3 weeks.
[Yields 1 1/2 Quarts]
