And a great site it is too. My family and I lived in Panama/Canal Zone for neary 30 years from Jan 1971 to Oct 1999. We lived in Coco Solo (1971-72), Gatun (1972-74), Los Rios (1976-83), Altos del Chase (1983-89), Curundu (1989-92), El Valle (1992-99). We were always an adventurous family. I started it by moving from the rat race East Coast to Las Vegas in 1967. We moved from the desert in 1971 to the jungle (Panama Canal Zone) and back to the desert (Lake Havasu) in 1999. In the meantime my daughter, Vikki moved to AZ and on to Juneau, AK where she now resides and my son, Ronnie and family moved to China and my oldest daughter, Linda, the more sedate one lives outside of Philadelphia, PA. My wife and I moved out of El Valle, Panama in 1999 after 8 years there because of poor roads, mudslides, electric blackouts, telephone outages, and Panama Govt bureaucratic snafus.
