I had a bout with pneumonia some years ago nd found that it packs more punch than most people know. So Don - if you are low because your recovery is slow - take comfort in the knowledge that you will get back the strength you had - it just takes time. Ken Bernstein CHS 66

Comments: Greetings everybody. God Bless all here. Just drop by to say hello and good night or should it be good morning. Well, the witching hour will soon be here. I can remember in the old Canal Zone when about this time we would pull in to the Diablo Clubhouse for a bit of strong black Cafe Duran. For the ride back to Cocoli could maybe take over an hour if we caught the Miraflores Bridge at the wrong time. But what a sight it was at night. It was just amazing as I reflect now that God Blessed us all by living in such a land of enchantment. A real lost paradise. We were all so lucky.....yes we were!

Comments: Just thought I would drop in and check everything out, I have such GREAT memories of Panama. I went to Balboa Elementary school and Curundu Jr High. My dad was in the Army and we lived in Quarry Heights. Anyway we left in 1982 and it was devastating to me that I couldn't stay with all my friends. The ones I remember most are Cathy Lanterman, Debbie Erhart, Kim Morgan, Wendy Modica. If any of you see this drop me a line!!

Comments: Greetings. God Bless all here. Since I drop by often and leave without a trace......I thought I would sign the guestbook. That was one of the things we use to do in the old Canal Zone. Yes, leave a scrawl, your initials on a tree or in fresh laid cement and maybe your John Hancock on a guestbook to let others know you dropped by for a spell. Like the GI's of WWII would leave "Killroy was Here." > ---(.V.)--- > And you know what? There was a real guy by the name of Killroy in the US Army during World War II. From what I heard he was from New York. With another anniversary of 6th of June 1944 just a few days from now. I think we should reflect on the sacrifices that wonderful generation made for us to enjoy all these freedoms today. God Bless them all. Hug your Uncle or your Grandfather if they are still around. Hug your Grandmother too.....Oh, those wonderful fudge cookies.......yes!
